There are now over 40 Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship programs across the country. Programs vary in their emphasis on research training. In an effort to boost the abilities of program directors to identify research training opportunities for their fellows. PRIS Executive Council members formed a Research Subcommittee of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Directors’ Council. The subcommittee plans to offer a series of webinars and other opportunities to enhance research education and interest among fellowship directors and the fellows they teach.
